Cast of 'We Have To Stop Now' Donates Show Proceeds To Haiti Relief Efforts
Los Angeles (19 January 2010) – The lesbian web series 'We Have To Stop Now,' starring out, lesbian actresses Cathy DeBuono & Jill Bennett,
announced today that it will donate a portion of all proceeds from the show's subscription sales to the relief efforts currently underway in Haiti.
"We wanted to be able to contribute something to the efforts being made in Haiti right now. We decided that, for any subscriptions we can gather
for season two between now and January 31, we will send a percentage of the proceeds to Haiti," said DeBuono. "We're hoping that this helps to raise
some relief support sooner rather than later."
'We Have To Stop Now,' is a romantic comedy that follows two lesbian therapists as they struggle to keep up the pretense of their own
relationship after the success of their book “How To Succeed In Marriage Without Even Trying.” Written by Award-Winning, Internationally Produced Playwright & Actress, Ann Noble, this off-beat love story features the ultra-sleek, intellectual Dyna (DeBuono) and the quirky, emotional Kit (Bennett) along with their therapist, Susan, played by the charming & hilarious Suzanne Westenhoefer.
Season 1 of 'We Have To Stop Now' will be available on DVD this summer through Wolfe Releasing. Season 2 boasts the return of Suzanne
Westenhoefer, & welcomes guest star & recently out actress Meredith Baxter along with a long list of other out, lesbian celebrity participants. A full video re-cap of Season 1 will also be available to Season 2 Subscribers to help fans catch up with the show so far.
