Palm Springs' first very lesbian friendly hotel was established in 1969 by Eadie Adams and her partner, Pat McGrath and for 30 years was known as The Desert Knight. In the book, Palm Springs Babylon, the Desert Knight is mentioned as being visited by many including, Gloria Swanson.
This beautiful resort has now been entirely renovated. Located two blocks from East Palm Canyon in the quiet Deepwell neighborhood, the QUEEN OF HEARTS RESORT has nine rooms, designer furnished of course, central air-conditioning in each room around a sparkling, heated swimming pool.
